The Nervous System Practice Space

18 Jan | 22 Feb | 22 Mar

3.30 - 5.30 pm

Rebalance Brighton BN1 1EL

A space to deepen capacity, not collect concepts.

This is a guided, co-creative group for people who understand nervous system work, want to build real capacity and embody it more fully.

Why this space exists

There is no shortage of information about nervous system regulation, trauma, embodiment. Podcasts, trainings, books, posts.

But understanding the theory is not the same as having the capacity to stay present when something activates you.

Nervous system capacity isn’t built through insight alone.

Many thoughtful, self-aware people still find that:

  • They know their patterns, but can’t shift them in the moment

  • They teach or speak about regulation, but struggle to access it under pressure

  • They understand boundaries, but lose themselves in relational dynamics

  • They value embodiment, but live mostly from the neck up

This space exists to bridge that gap through experiential learning and practice for better integration.

Previously known as the Embodied Wisdom Circle. As the work evolves, the name has shifted to reflect its true focus - less concept, more embodied practice and a place to deepen and integrate what we understand so we can live this work more fully.

Together we explore

  • Staying with sensation instead of story

  • Recognising default stress responses in real time

  • Building tolerance for intensity without shutting down

  • Staying connected to yourself in relational tension

  • Feeling your "no" before it becomes resentment

  • Expanding capacity without overriding your limits

  • Developing steadiness that isn't performance or suppression

  • Leading and living from embodied steadiness

The structure

  • Small group format

  • Guided experiential practices

  • Space for reflection and shared learning

  • Clear boundaries and consent-based participation

  • Activities are always invitational

  • A pace that honours nervous system safety

Who it's for

This space is for you if:

  • You already have some understanding of nervous system work

  • You're a coach, therapist, leader, or practitioner wanting deeper integration

  • You value self-awareness and emotional responsibility

  • You're willing to practice, not just reflect

  • You want community with others who "get it"

This is not a training. It's not therapy. Nor is it a certification. It's practice.

What you might leave with:

  • A stronger felt experience of safety and presence

  • Greater clarity around your needs and capacity

  • More ease in relational dynamics

  • Embodied steadiness under pressure

  • Subtle, but powerful nervous system expansion

A grounded container

This space is designed with intention, consent and spaciousness at its core. My role is to create a grounded container where you can feel quickly at ease. We trust the body's timing and wisdom. We work gently and slowly with plenty of grounding, occasional music, moments of rest, and some movement. You are encouraged to go at your own pace and listen to your limits.

What this is not

This is not a therapy group or a place to work through trauma history, deep crisis or chronic dysregulation which may be best supported in a therapeutic setting.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to share my experience?

Sharing is always optional. There will be the opportunity to share your reflection of your own present-moment, embodied experience, if you feel called to do so. Listening and movement expression is just as welcome as speaking. Being seen, witnessed, heard, felt and met by others who are attuned and present to you in the moment can be profoundly nourishing, life-affirming and supportive. The beautiful thing about this way of working is that we don't need to focus on retelling or reliving past pain to work deeply.

Will it be heavy or depressing to hear the experiences of others?

Many sharing spaces unintentionally become places where we're asked to witness big T trauma or emotional overwhelm - often without enough structure or consent. This space is not about trauma processing or emotional unloading.

This group is designed around choice-based participation, with the opportunity to call a pause, or opt in and out at any time. Shares are timed and oriented toward what's alive in the present moment.

You need only to commit to honouring yourself and tracking your own capacity, by allowing and accepting what comes up for you. Self-responsiblity and consent are part of the container. It's always okay to decided an activity, or this group isn't the right fit. You decide what is best for you. You are teaching your body it can trust you.

Why join a group? Group scares me.

The group container is a highly effective space to learn skills. The group will save you time and money and will prepare you to refine your skills on your own much more effectively. Working as part of a group offers the advantage of amplifying the insights and learning that we may need because much of our medicine is mirrored to us by others in some way. The collective consciousness amplifies the practice and allows for deep change to happen. We are a tribal species, wired for community and co-regulating with others is an effective way we can support our own nervous system.

Do I have to have attended previous workshops?

Each session is designed to be unique and standalone. You do not have to have attended a circle or group previously, nor have prior experience. Come as you are.

Is this a spiritually neutral space?

The intention is for this to be a religiously neutral space. The focus is on embodiment, inner awareness, and relational presence, drawing on somatic, Somatic Experiencing, body-based approaches and mindfulness-informed practices. You are invited to take responsibility for your own experience in a grounded, body-based way, without any spiritual beliefs being required.

Mary G - ALCHEMY Workshop

I absolutely loved it. I think I am quite in tune with my body and then something like this workshop comes along and completely floors me!

Emma M - ALCHEMY Workshop

Eva created a safe, held space that was non-judgemental. This made it easy to go deep. I highly recommend her workshops!

Maria - ALCHEMY Workshop

I felt a real change afterwards - more like the old me. I haven't felt like me for a few years now.
